GI Map Stool Analysis

In order to achieve your best health your gut must be a top priority. It is impossible to be healthy and achieve an optimal weight with a gut that is overgrown with bad bacteria, parasites and low in beneficial gut bacteria.

Due to overwhelming amounts of stress, the lack of real whole food, and the abundance of environmental toxins most Americans are living with guts lacking beneficial bacteria and overly occupied by harmful bacteria. A gut with out of balance bacteria can lead to GI disorders, autoimmune disease, decreased mental health, unexplained weight gain, and a weakened immune system.

The GI map test is an extremely useful tool in helping to prevent chronic disease by detecting pathogenic organisms such as bacteria, parasite, viruses ,and yeast. By testing and not guessing we are able to identify the issue behind the symptoms and determine the best way to naturally heal the gut and improve overall health.

Those who suffer with the following would benefit from the GI Map Test;

  • Bloating Brain Fog
  • Weight Loss Resistance
  • Constipation
  • Low Energy
  • Hormonal Imbalances
  • Gas Insomnia
  • ADHD
  • Diarrhea Auto-Immunity
  • Eczema/Acne
  • Yeast Infection
  • GI Pain Infertility

Food Sensitivity Testing

Food/chemical sensitivities and leaky gut are at the root of many major health issues and diseases. Most people don’t understand the difference between food allergies and food sensitivities. They both can be very harmful to the body, but they are very different. Food allergies cause an immediate reaction such as anaphylaxis, rashes, hives, and swelling.

Food sensitivities are more difficult to detect because they can be delayed for several hours or even days. They cause more subtle symptoms such as joint pain, bloating, constipation, sinus issues, brain fog, headaches, and fatigue. Consuming foods that you are sensitive to a daily basis puts your body into a state of chronic inflammation.

Chronic inflammation leads to leaky gut which then causes more inflammation, food sensitivities, and eventually autoimmune disease. Food sensitivity testing allows us to identify foods that cause inflammation and eliminate them from our diet.

In doing so we improve the quality of or gut health and reduce the risk of chronic degenerative disease. After testing and eliminating food sensitivities most people report better moods, less bloating, improved sleep, less acne/eczema, better brain function, improved metabolism, weight loss, decreased sinus congestion, and more energy.

Those who suffer with the following would benefit from food sensitivity testing;

  • Constipation
  • Brain Fog
  • Fatigue
  • Bloating
  • Headaches
  • Disrupted Sleep
  • Joint Pain
  • Eczema/Acne
  • Heartburn
  • ADHD IBS Diagnosis
  • Feel worse after eating
  • Unexplained weight gain
  • behavioral issues in children

Dutch Hormonal Profile

Our hormones play a critical role in our health and wellbeing. Without proper hormonal balance we experience a host of issues, including estrogen dominance, sleep issues, adrenal fatigue, low libido, and many others. Chronic stress and the “GO, GO, GO!” lifestyle most Americans live are major contributors to hormone dysfunction.

The chemicals and toxins we are bombarded with daily also wreak havoc on healthy hormone levels. Unless you are currently taking steps to care for your hormones it is likely that they are out of whack! Often times it takes physical evidence of the effect that stress has on the body for an individual to make the healthy lifestyle changes necessary to heal their hormones.

The Dutch Hormone Test is a great way to do so. This comprehensive test measures levels of cortisol, estradiol, estrone, estriol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, melatonin and more! Too little or too much of any one of these hormones can cause the others to go haywire so it is important be aware of what is going on inside your body and to correct it through proper nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle changes.

Those who suffer with the following would benefit from the Dutch Test;

  • Hair Loss
  • Fatigue
  • Low sex drive
  • Insomnia
  • Depression
  • Moodiness
  • Weight Gain
  • Low Energy
  • Abdominal Fat
  • Weakness Anxiety
  • PCOS
  • Breast Cancer
  • Fibroids
  • Menopausal/Menstruation Issues

Blood Overview

A comprehensive bloodwork panel is a great place to start when trying to overcome health and/or weight loss issues. Most people have bloodwork done annually through their doctors, are told everything is normal, and sent on their way without a copy or explanation of their own results. This method of healthcare is neglectful and a waste of valuable information.

Blood test results are considered “normal” by comparison to the average American. It is sad to say, but the average American is not the picture of health and most likely living in a diseased state. When interpreting client bloodwork I look for optimal values, not average. When values are out of the optimal range there is some level of dysfunction going on in the body that needs to be addressed.

Basic bloodwork provides a wealth of information about an individuals state of health. An in depth overview of bloodwork provides clues as to if someone is malnourished, has low stomach acid, struggles with adrenal fatigue, is infected with parasites/bacterial infection and much more.

Tests to have your doctor run if they are not already included in your bloodwork;

  • CMP-Complete Metabolic Panel
  • CBC with Differential – Complete Blood Count
  • Lipid Panel –
  • Full Thyroid Panel – TSH, T3 Free, T4 Free, Reverse T3, TG & TPO Antibodies
  • Vitamin D
  • Ferritin
  • Lipid
